Job Description

The position serves in a senior clinical position within integrated services in the Behavioral Health (BH) Department and as the primary Services clinician. The position is responsible for the clinical supervision of the BH integrated counselor position, delivery of integrated behavioral health services to the Primary Care, Urgent Care and OB/GYN Departments, primary integrated care for teen services and management of incoming referrals for BH triage.

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide consultation and recommendations for patients' treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual or family counseling to a caseload of patients, addressing diverse psychosocial needs within a primary care setting.
  • Work in partnership with the adolescent health team to identify and deliver psychosocial triage and services, attending various community meetings and building relationships with external agencies to support adolescent social service needs.
  • Support the integration of behavioral health services within primary care, participating in consultation, quality assurance projects, supervision, paperwork/documentation, and providing leadership in managing referrals and appointment scheduling. Additionally, provide clinical supervision, workload management, and program development support to integrated counselors, while maintaining flexibility in schedule to accommodate evening and weekend hours as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters in Social Work, Counseling or a related field, LICSW/LMHC preferred; LICSW/LMHC eligible will be considered.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others both within the staff team and throughout other departments in an integrated care model.
  • Clinician with solid assessment and crisis intervention skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and integrated care desired.
  • Commitment to community service, along with desire to work with a multicultural and diverse patient population.
