Job Description

Clinical/Counselling Psychologist           
Part or Full Time
£55,000 - £65,000


Working with Children & Young People up to 18 years old, in a residential setting. You will work with two services, Learning Disabilities and Eating Disorders. Working with patients to develop personalised pathways. You will provide risk assessments, formulations and treatment to the children, young people and their families.

You will also help to develop treatment pathways, working closely with the community and other psychiatric services.

Essential Skills of the Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

  • At least 2 years experience as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience working with Children & Young People
  • Experience supervising junior team members
  • HCPC registration
  • Range of treatment method, ie CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT

Beneficial Skills of the Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

  • Experience with Eating Disorders
  • Learning Disability experience
  • Working with Complex Case Loads
